Bilguissa Barry (Senior Program Operations Manager)
Guinean-born and globally minded, Bilguissa Barry serves as the Senior Program Operations Manager for Community Engaged Teaching and Research (CETR) at Northeastern University. She earned her BA in International Studies and African & African Diaspora Studies from Boston College and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in International Management.
In her role, Bilguissa oversees CETR’s operations, and coordinating faculty, student, and community partner collaborations that integrate meaningful, hands-on engagement into academic courses. She manages the recruitment, training, and support of student leaders, and works to ensure partnerships are impactful, equitable, and mutually beneficial. Bilguissa’s work is shaped by her commitment to equity, inclusion, and building authentic relationships across cultures and sectors. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, organizing large family gatherings, and finding creative ways to bring people together—whether through community events, cultural celebrations, or shared meals.
