It is difficult to pick one experience to highlight the greatness of CETR and its relationships with the community partners. However, one experience that stands out as a service-learning teach assistant and team manager would be attending the Heart of Community Awards. This event showcased the extraordinary relationships and outcomes between CETR and the community partners. I had conversations with so many people and hearing about the impact the students I worked with impacted me deeply. Being able to see the mutually beneficial relationships in work and how many people have been beneficially affected by these relationships truly solidified why I became a part of such a great community.
