This module was developed in 2019 by the former Center of Community Service at Northeastern. It is now restructured as Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and Community Service & Civic Engagement.
This training module introduces students to the basics of asset-based community development as a practice and philosophy for community-engagement. It was designed to ensure that all members of our campus community are arriving to their service sites ready to support our Partners in the important work that they are already doing.
- Faculty and S-LTAs can utilize this resource prior to service to guide infiltrating a community as a non-native in a sensitive and productive manner.
